Takeaway / Sin and Yang/SeriesX2

I've decide to submit two pieces of artwork for this campaign. The first, titled Takeaway and the second, Sin and Yang. The rationale behind these pieces was to focus on iconic elements of Chinese cultural while simultaneously discussing the issue of organ harvesting and trafficking. Living in the UK, both Chinese takeaways and the Yin Yang are widely recognised and or enjoyed. However, both are culturally distinct from western culture and synonymous with China's culture and way of life. Using two prominent Chinese themes of both food and philosophy as inspiration, I decided to incorporate elements relating to the issue of organ harvesting
