Chinese lady's dinner
Idea / Money can buy organs, but not civilization. A rich woman wearing a qipao and jewelry holds surgical scissors and a scalpel at the ready, prepared to eat a plate of foods shaped like a human body. The unsettling atmosphere alludes to the Cultural Revolution and the Chinese economic reform, led by Deng Xiaoping, when the Communist regime also embraced extreme capitalism, resulting in economic inequality. This twisted human nature led to the emergence of the practice of organ harvesting, as part of an ugly culture built upon money.
