Forced Surgery
理念 / This idea evolved from a sketch of a vulnerable and helpless young female figure restrained on a surgical bed to include the blindfold and gag with the words help me which in the end played nicely into the text of the poster. First versions had her mouth screaming in agony but I like the anonymous nature of the blindfold and gag. This could be many different people and unfortunately has been the case. I opted for a cut paper style which kept the figure from appearing sexual but I still wanted her to be naked and hence more vulnerable than it would be otherwise. The CCP hand with the scalpel morphed from a more realistic version to the symbolic flag silhouette that highlights better who is behind these atrocities.
